Mardi Gras, first born in 1979 on a single night of political protest, the spirit lives on almost four decades later more alive than ever before!
The parade unites people as one bringing together the city to a standstill with thousands of people lining the streets in support of equality, pride and a dazzling spectacle of sparkles.
There’s really nothing else like it and is truly an amazing thing to be a part of, with 184 floats prepared to blow everyone away!

The Official Mardi Grad Party 2017 is set to be the party to end all parties, with 12,000+ partygoers from around the world, it’s one of the biggest LGBTQI celebrations and the only place to party after the parade.
